We are
very proud of our annual Charity Golf
Tournament. Over the years, the Huhtala Oil
Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $150,000 for
food pantries in the Greater Gardner area.
This year's event was held Monday July 23, 2007 at
the Gardner Golf Course and netted $16,000.

Since
1995, the Huhtala family has been proud to be
involved with the Huhtala Oil Charity Golf Classic -
born out of a desire to help the less fortunate in
the area.
A
special $1000 donation was made in 2001 to the UMass
Blood Donor center in memory of Richard Huhtala who
passed away in November 2000. Mr. Huhtala is
credited with being a driving force behind the
tournament.
Huhtala Oil Co. supports Gardner Youth
Hockey, Greater Gardner Youth Soccer, Girl Scouts, Boy
Scouts, area Little Leagues and churches. We annual
donate 750 gallons of oil for the Templeton Lion's club
Scholarship Raffle. Huhtala Oil is a member of,
and supports the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce. |
