In most cases Huhtala Oil & Propane can easily install a new standard 275 gallon steel oil tank in less than a day to give you piece of mind that your home is protected from a costly oil spill and environmental disaster. Huhtala Oil installs Granby tanks which carry a 10 year warranty.
Double Walled Oil Tanks
If you're looking for even more protection Huhtala Oil & Propane also installs Roth double walled tanks giving an extra barrier of protection as well as a 20 year warranty

Protect your home from the high cost of an oil tank failure. With Huhtala Oil & Propane's Tank Protection plan you will receive a credit of $850.00 towards an oil tank replacement performed by Huhtala Oil & Propane. Oil tank installations include
-Pump off of leaking oil tank
-Transfer of oil to new oil tank through filtered pump
-Replacement of fill and vent piping
-Replacement of fuel delivery line
-Necessary permits
-Disposal of failed oil tank

***Huhtala Oil & Propane requires a visual tank check before putting any tank on the protection plan for the first time. ***Underground tanks are not eligible for the tank protection program.
New Massachusetts State Law
New state law requires home insurers to offer special coverage to oil heat homes that comply with certain safety protocols. Chapter 453 requires your oil line from tank to burner must be encased in a protective sleeve or have an oil safety valve by September 30, 2011.
